An Insider- researcher needs to be particularly aware of the research environment
Being an Insider impacts on the design of the inquiry and on the tools chosen to carry out the inquiry. You have knowledge about the work place...greater access to people at your workplace. 

The first section of the quote stood out to me as, i noticed by emerging myself into the research with the readings and blogging how important this is in contributing to being the insider researcher to your inquiry. After reading this quote, i also saw how good it will be that i am on tour when completing module three because i will have a greater access to other performers.

Purposive - choosing people who can have experience, ideas and information about your inquiry focus area ...

Cast members from a range of ages - Different outlook to experience/knowledge
Conversations with friends who are performers
Asking about success from two successful people who are not performing anymore

Representative - Selection of the sample of people to inform you what you think a larger group of people would say 
....speak to experts in a feel to find out more about an area of your practice that is specialised. 

Interview with set questions
2 Female Performers - Age 30 -60
2 Male Performers - Age 30 - 60
2 Female Performers - Age 20- 30
2 Male Performers - Age 20- 30
2 Female Performers - Age 16+
2 Male Performers - Age 16+

Equal amount of male and female
Wide age scale to see if answers differ
For the 16+, I may need to send the questions to somewhere where i can get this information.
Also need to consider if wanting 16 year old, a request to the university needs to be done
Reason: I went to college at 16 and feel my answers would already be so different now to then so think this is important. 19 and coming out of college is where some consider to be at there peak this is where i want to see if this true. I disagree strongly.
NOTE: Friends always mention about how at the audition ´there was loads of 19 year olds, fresh from college´. Is this true, are we fresh then or does our talent ripen with age?
