Who Got The Part?
Auditioning for a show
Had a private audition `Number four on the EMC list...never got seen`
`Goldberg discouraged, resolved not to attend´ open audition the next day
By Chance he met friends the next day at the audition (social lives intertwine with work daily)
the next day, 15 minutes later was in the room, the day after had the job.
The emotional Journey of 48 hours
From gearing yourself into that focused head space of the audition, which is not easy when nerves and adrenaline are also involved. To the disappointment of not being seen, to the rejection of not getting the job. To the low and come down process of the nerves and adrenaline, to the moving on process, to the surprise of finding yourself into an intense situation from zero, to then finding yourself succesful, and then the high of getting the job. All in 48 hours!
´Chance...luck`
The guy in question went on to other things from this show. The job was a huge catalyst in order for him to gain future employment.
I have experienced this bizarre feeling of looking back on an audition and thinking if i had not have got that, i would not have achieved and done the contracts i have since then.
No matter what the outcome, there is a reason why it did/did not happen.
