and to `hear from Actors we might not know otherwise`. 

Food for thought- Personal connections are not maybe met with a Director/Actor in the audition experience - From own experience, my best and most reliable relationship developing into  a friendship, was made with a director from that first meeting. He heard me sing a song that from looking at me he never knew i could do, resulting in me getting a job as a part in West Side story without speaking German. I believe it was due to the surprise factor that secured me this chance to prove myself, in which i did and gained future employment.

Overall: great chance for musical theatre performers to be creative and brand themselves to a director
              A greater control over your destiny

PERSONAL EXPERIENCE: Every day of a performers life comes back to how to make these three things better and greater in ourselves

´Looking back i didn't know myself. I was giving them what i thought they wanted´
I think every performer has struggled with this thought at some point. But the secret is you have to look into yourself in order to show people what they want to see. She goes on to say, ìnstead of me`. The reason why i split this one quote is because i believe in order to achieve a greater success on giving something that is required of you, you have to show yourself first. Being comfortable in your own skin, gives of a confident impression, if you spend the time to really believe in yourself, this part becomes a natural focus and i know from experience the difference it can have.

I interpreted this quote as another way of saying ´Letting Go`. Yin Yoga - You are in control because you control the breath but in order to achieve the full experience you have to let go, not that dissimilar to the experience of an audition.

I found through reading the article, the performers discuss class as a vital tool in order to better yourself as a dancer. (Develop the confidence aspect that is required).
A personal evaluation: When doing 8 shows a week, with one day free, on that one day you wish to do anything but dance, but now i have the free time, i feel its a chore and an effort to do somethign i love to do. I do this because i associate taking class with work and college (Similar to learning at school) in which i was being made to do it.



I decided two weeks ago to begin a fitness challenge of my own anyway, so now wish to coincide this with a 6 week plan, with daily/weekly evaluations.

1week - Daily workout/Yoga
2 - 5 week - 4 dance classes a week - Daily yoga/Workout
5-6 week - Evaluation week

I shall be evaluating how much taking class and focusing on fitness contributes to the quote, `Dancers Need Confidence, Flexibility and resiliency´.
