Starting Module Two
A new year, and a new approach to the course. Instead of shying away through the stuff i do not understand, Embrace it. Learning is what is needed for us to grow into the best versions of ourselves!
So after reading through module two handbook, i found myself overwhelmed by the information and struggled to make that first step onto the path of the module. With my new approach in hand, i bought some old fashioned note cards and a trusty biro! This has been the most effect way for me to process information needed for the course and has made turned the tentative first step into a steady paced jog. *

Professional practice based inquiry is a way to learn about what you are doing, while you do it.
Examine the knowledge and skills that are needed to be a professional in your field.
Module Two is about the skills of the inquiry, do not focus just on your topic. Keep yourself open to information. I noticed as soon as i began to brainstorm my ideas and gather literature it was easier to see where my inquiry was going next. By keeping myself open to absorbing the information, the sections of interest presented themselves.
Consider Ethics in your topic.
In Module One, i feel i struggled to understand how ethics had an impact on my practice. I liked the anaolgy made on Adesola's blog using an example to explain ethics. She said, ´Running for the tube...see someone in the way... i consider... i cannot be late for the meeting but this lady looks like she cant move...or.. who is bigger me or her?'
I could then see how ethics are simple decesions we all make in our day to day lives and through this i found it easier to see the ethics in my readings and personal life e.g My Practice
